Me: "umm..."
Mila: "I would like a bag like you!"
Me: "But you have lots of bags already! I've given you a very nice pink one with a big flower on"
Mila: "No, I want a bag like this" (pointing at my bag)
Me: "Aahhh (it's in the genes)....well I promise you, I will give you one when you are older
Mila: "How old? Seven?"
Sadly for my beautiful daughter, not matter how many bags I can get my hands on in the shop, I'm not the kind of mother who will spend £200 on a bag for a five-years old...or on a seven-years old for that matter...:-)

OK... it's not a life-threatening one...it's a fashion one and I know there is more to life, blablabla but I spent the day dealing with staff recruitment, VAT filing and monthly management account and frankly I need a break!
Last Saturday, when Mila and I went shopping, I saw a tall, mid-forties woman with her 14 years old boy in toe, looking damn good on a pair of black Hasbeens high-heeled jodhpurs and then the day after, I spotted these 'beyond cute as pie' clogs, Nathalie got for her daughter so I don't know about you but personally I took it as a sign from the Universe telling me that I should get some! I really like the red ones Clare got in Paris but then Nath sent me the link about H&M and Hasbeens bringing together clogs to us this Spring...errmm Hello! Don't they look fab!!??
The problem with anything that is made exclusively for H&M is often sold out by the time I get there, unless I start sleeping in front of the shop doors and I'm one of the first to grab a pair...What do you think??
I wouldn't mind her eyes, her mouth, her body and her breasts either but let's not be greedy...
PS: On Friday I saw a t-shirt in Paris that made me laugh....It had printed on it: "I don't like anything...I'm a Parisian" :-)

Pssst.....our January sale are still on!
Few more beautiful bags have been shipped yesterday from L.A. and we're going to receive a few more La Tropezienne tote bag with 5" straps in tan and more of the black La Trop. It's getting tight but we will still get them in time for Xmas which is very good news! We also have the blue messenger bag in stock!

Since I have Norwegian ancestors, I can tell you that it means **108 Hot shopping tips** in Norwegian and as I'm going through my copy of Elle Interior Norway (kindly sent by the lovely Cecilie Molvær Jørgensen, Deputy Editor), I just realized that I will have to take more photos of this fabulous mag to show you some of the cool interiors they have featured.
But first thing first. What do we have in Elle Interior Norway? Come on...have a guess!! Ouuuiii!!!! La Trop! Look at this...doesn't this bag simply just look the part!
In fact, Cecilie's selection is very much my tastes....
A rolex? Yes that will do thank you very much! A La Trop? Yes thx...got that already! An Owl candleholder? Yep! This owl vase will do. Sibella Court book? Got that too already! A nice carafe? Yes this looks nice in a guest room. Sheepskin sleepers? Yes I've got some too...I know... not sexy but may I remind you that I live with a New-Zealander and last month Steve bought sheepkin sleepers (from New-Zealand) for the whole family and although they are not sexy (really not), they are super comfy!
So basically I have pretty much everything except the Rolex (shame!)....
Pssstt...don't miss Cecilie's bedroom corner on Sunday!
Une rolex? Erm oui merci beaucoup!
When I was young, our dad used to tell Elodie and I that our family name 'Köng' (to be pronounced Kung) came from Norway...Apparently our great, great grand father was a sailor who settled down in Norway and started a family, blablabla and years later you ended up with me!
Then when I was 16, he turned around and said that after all our surname might have come from Switzerland! Erm... no offence to the Swiss (I love the Swiss especially her) but between having Vikings as ancestors or being Swiss, I just felt that I had more Viking spirit in my blood than Swiss so I stick to my Viking story...
Anyway, I doubt it's why I love so much Elle Interior Norway but I do! I love this mag and their Xmas issue looks just amazing!
PS: And I've just found out this morning that they also featured my favourite bag: La Tropezienne tote bag by Clare Vivier...so happy

I've always loved this brand but I think I love their stylism, aesthetic, photography and greys even more....will go and see them at the end of Jan. in Paris...

We had so much fun shooting a couple of gorgeous five years old today, trying on over 15 different outfits...skeleton, witch, princess, werewolf and lots of masks, glasses and hats. The girls were fantastic, so fun and imaginative...They were coming up with all sorts of ideas and funny faces...and look how the small size of the STAR t-shirt looks cool on them!

We just had the most amazing review in the FT's How to Spend it online magazine so we will have to blow our own little trumpet here...
Pleaase forgive us...It may not mean a lot to you but for us this is HU-GE!
How to Spend It is part of the Financial Times and is a very high-profile luxury magazine and their review is just amazing...
A big thank you to Nicole Swengley for writing such a wonderful review!
